Amy Chadwick in Hamburg, MN

Five years ago, Memorial Day Amy and her husband went to Gilbert for the first time with his 1979 Bronco. It broke on Saturday morning. She had only been on the trails for about 10 minutes. Dave, her husband, found this girl driving around in a Jeep alone with a dog. He flagged her down and said, “my wife doesn't know if she likes this type of thing, my rig is broken, your alone can she go with you for a little while, you look like fun?” She loved every minute of it and was hooked, (thanks Kari Stringer)! Amy has a 1990 YJ and a 2014 JKU. The JKU is her daily driver and will be getting some modifications to be both off-highway and daily driver. Currently she wheels the 1990 YJ. On the trails you can find Amy munching on some heathy snacks: Slim Jims, water, apples, and grapes. Her favorite places to wheel are Gilbert, Mosabi Mountain Trail (MMT), Frontenac Farms, and Freedom Ridge. Amy’s theme song is “Fat Bottom Girls” by Queen and you can often hear her say, “my mother would be so ashamed!”.

Amy Prod in Somerset, WI

Amy’s husband got a Jeep, and took her with on an off-highway adventure. She had so much fun, she had to get a Jeep of her own! Amy drives a 2017 JKU that she loves to go rock crawling and mudding with. She has taken her Jeep to Apple Valley Farms, Northwoods Jeep Jamboree, and River Falls. Her dream place to wheel in Moab, UT! Amy’s theme song is the Fragile Rock theme song and her favorite quote is “bork, bork, bork!”. On the trails, of you need sugar fix, find Amy, she has all the candies!

Angie Lawson in New Richmond, WI

One day Angie decided to drive to Colorado to drive in the mountains and visit family. She really enjoyed the experience and began looking for similar experiences here in the Midwest.  Angie is leasing a 2018 Wrangler Sport JLU and it is her main winter vehicle and daily driver. She just got started in the Jeep world, and is already addicted! Her next step after her lease is up is get into a Rubicon edition of a Jeep Wrangler. She recently has wheeled in two winter events, so snow is the terrain she is most familiar with. You can find Angie eating trail mix and a PB&J sandwich on the trails while listening to music. She has taken her Jeep to Apple Valley Farms and River Falls in Wisconsin. Angie daydreams driving her Jeep on the beach in Florida. Angela Hinkley

Angela wheeled a 2014 JKU for a few years. You can find her as a passenger on the trails with anyone who will let her in! Angela enjoys rock crawling, rock bouncing and overlanding. She loves her snacks and trail lunches! Some of her favorites are pizza or a burrito warmed up on the engine, trail mix and fruit, and a good old sandwich. Angela has wheeled in seven states, conquered over sixty trails and has many more to go! Her dream is to race rock and she has a list a mile long of race circuits she would like to participate in. Angela’s theme song is “Be Okay” by Oh Honey and her favorite quote is “When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and could say, 'I used everything you gave me'." - Erma Bombeck


Angie Ruff in Standford, FL

Angie Ruff joins us from sunny Florida! She wheels a beautiful 1994 Ford Bronco 5.0 with a 4” life and 35” tires. She enjoys any off-road trails and rock crawling. You can find her listening to country and bluegrass, while eating Amour Brand vienne sausages. Angie has wheeled in Arizona, West Virginia, and Florida. She also has some experience in a Gambler Car in several states too – how cool is that?



Annabella Pahl in Stacy, MN

Anna got into the sport through her hubby! Last minute, he bought and built her a jeep to join the ladies run where LROC was launched!  We were up till 4:30am finishing her up took a nap and headed out. She been in love with the sport ever since! Anna had Patches, a green 1999 Jeep Wrangler (TJ), but she sold her and got this beautiful yellow 2000 Jeep Wrangler (TJ) with a IRO premium 6" long arm kit on JK Dana 44 axels and much more! Anna loves rock climbing while listening to her 90s music and enjoys her sandwiches, chips and trail mix when we stop for lunch. You can find Anna on the trails at Dresser, WI, Frontenac Farms, MN and Gilbert, MN. Her dream is to wheel in Moab, UT. Her theme song is "Fight Song' and her favorite quote is "All things are possible through God".



Ari Tetzlaff  in the Twin Cities

Ari has always been fan and wanting to go off-highway and didn’t have any close friends that were into the sport. She wheels her 2017 JKU and just attended her first off-highway event in 2020 at the LROC Women’s Weekend of Wheelin’ at Apple Valley Farms. While she is new to the sport, she dreams of one day taking her Jeep. You can find Ari listening to rock n roll snackin on a healthy choice of carrots on the trails. Her favorite quote is “hope for the best, but plan for the worst” and her theme song is “I like it heavy” by Halestorm.



Barb Champion in Chaska, MN

Barb has a 2016 JKU stock Jeep that she wheels and drives daily. Her trail jams are U2, anything 80’s. She is learning and experiencing mainly as passenger and has been to Gilbert and Nemadji locally and took a trip to the Ozark too! Barb’s theme song is “Beautiful Day”.


Becky Hartkopp in Mason City, IA

Becky loves her 2000 TJ named Tantrum and says that her Jeep “provides her with sooo much happiness”. She was introduced to off-highway recreating by her beautiful and inspirational sister Misty Hakes. Becky lover her mug of coffee on the trails and jamming out to her theme song “Life is a Highway”. She has wheeled locally at Gilbert and Dresser. Becky dreams of driving her Jeep on the beach, pick a beach, any beach. I see Jeep Beach Week in her future! Her favorite quote is “Are you living, or just existing”.


Brandi Collins in Blaine, MN

Brandi was interested in off-highway recreating at an early age as a spectator. As an adult, she always wanted to try it but put other things (kiddos/work) in front of it. Brandi bought her Jeep 2011 four years ago stock with the intent to learn to wheel it. After a conscious effort to search out Jeep clubs locally, she landed at a women's wheeling event for her first time ever taking her Jeep off-highway and it turned out to be LROC's launch event. Brandi has done some modifications to her Jeep adding a lift, upgraded steering components, awesome blue wheels and Mickey Thompsons. She threw in a sound system too for good tunes on top down days too! She is drawn to Rock crawling, but enjoys a nice drive on backroads too. He favorite trail snack is bacon jerky (yum) and she likes to listen to metal and hip hop. Brandi has wheeled at Gilbert, MN, Dresser, WI, Madison, WI, Gandy Dancer, MN, Spider Lake, MN and she dreams of taking her Jeep to Moab, Arizona and these really cool caves in Missouri.


Brigid Cisek in Minneapolis, MN

Brigid is new to the sport and she has a beautiful 1999 Jeep Cherokee Sport and her name is Betty White. She's mostly stock, with some bigger mud tires. Planning on doing a life in the near future! Brigid’s partner bought a beater XJ to deliver pizzas in several years ago and it became their favorite vehicle. They’ve gone down the rabbit hole since then and watch a lot of YouTube videos and would love to build an overlanding vehicle one day! Her favorite type of off-highway recreating is overlanding. You will find Brigid chowing down on her favorite trail snack, beef sticks and listening to Chet Faker. She daydreams of an adventure in Hurricane, Utah. Cara Casey in Clayton, WI

Cara got into the sport through her friend Tanya Johnson and her brother Vaughn. She went off-highway once five years ago, and is now hooked and she has become very passionate about the sport. Cara has always been into dirt bikes and four wheeling, but now she owns a ’98 TJ named “Rosita” or “Rosie” for short. She has been to Apple Valley Fars, Trollhaugen, Frontenac Farms and wheels on her own property. Cara has big dreams of wheelin in Moab. You can find Cara on the trails eating her gummy bears and listening to Florida Georgia Line. Her theme song is “This is how we roll” by Florida Georgia Line and her favorite quote is “Scatter Joy”.


Caroline Schloessr in Prescott, WI

Caroline went on a solo trip with her dog to Colorado. They slept in the car and the campers next to them at Cherry Creek had a really nice Jeep set up with a roof top tent. She was intrigued and had never seen one before. Upon returning home, her crossover started having troubles so she searched for a vehicle that could hold my dream of owning a RTT. I came across Bonnie, her 2017 Toyota 4Runner (T4R) and had to have her!. That's when the obsession set in and her smile could not be wiped from her face! Caroline loves overlanding, off grid camping, and some rock crawling. You can find her on the trails eating hot Cheetos and milk and music by Yelawolf gets her out of sticky situations. She has wheeled in Colorado and Minnesota and would like to be on the coast when the T4R hits 100k miles. Caroline’s theme song is “What's Up” by 4 Non Blondes and her favorite quote is “live simply so others can simply live”.

Chris Talley in Lino Lakes, MN

Chris entered the sport with dirt bikes before getting "Clifford", a 1989 YJ, as a Mother's Day gift a few years ago. Chris and Clifford enjoy forest trails, mud, rocks and hills. On the trails, her favorite food is burritos and she jams out to 80's music. Her dream is to do the Rubicon Trail!

Cristal Mroczek in Blaine, MN

Cristal had her first Jeep Wrangler when she was 19 years old and had a blast with it! She is a JeepHer again and rockin' a 2019 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon (JL)! On the trails in her fancy new ride Cristal jams out to old school hip hop and munches on Ruffle chips and Top of the Tator. Her favorite go to quote is "That's what he/she said". Cristal's theme song is "Fire" by the Ohio Players.


Elizabeth Bayerl in Lester Prairie, MN

Elizabeth got hooked one the sport through her son when he was stationed in Hawaii. She wheels a 2017 Jeep Rubicon and enjoys rock crawling. You can find her on the trails enjoying nuts and protein bars listening to Ladies of Rock, Janis Joplin, and Carole King. Elizabeth has taken adventures in Moab, Breckenridge, and the Corral Canyon. Her theme song is “This is me” and her favorite quote is “Does is spark joy?” -Marie Kondo


Emily Hess in Rosemount, MN

Her Papou (Maternal Grandfather) purchased a 1947 CJ-2A Willys and her Mom grew up learning how to drive with it. Growing up in southeast Minnesota, Emily had access to bluffs and private land that she enjoyed trail riding on ATV's and the '47. Later, she purchased some land which connected to that land and now enjoys 32 miles of private trails to ride on in her 2020 Jeep Wrangler JLU Rubicon. Emily enjoys any wheelin’ with a view, listens to country on the trails and loves to take a break and eat a good old fashion ham and cheese sandwich with mustard and chips. Gayle Larson in Minneapolis, MN

Gayle is new to the sport and is interested in overlanding. She wheels her 2018 Wrangler JL Sport S named Boomer. Locally she has been to Trollhaugen in Dresser, WI and River Falls, WI. She dreams of a trip to Moab and is planning an LROC event to Michigan in 2020! Her favorite quote is “Not all those who wander are lost.” -J.R.R. Tolkien


Heather Browning in Green Bay, WI

Save the squares! We’ve got ourselves a YJ owner! Heather has a highly modified 92 YJ that she takes off-road and a 02 Grand Cherokee. Heather got into the sport through friends that own Jeeps. You can often find her on the trails at Tigerton and Big Snow. But she has also been to Kettle Moraine Trail and some trails in Arizona and Texas. Her dream location to wheel is lots of trails, few obstacles and close to a hotel. When on the trails you can find her eating ham, cheese and nuts with a side of iced tea. Heather’s favorite quote is Carpe Diem.


Hilary Blair in Mantorville, MN

Hilary's first off-highway event was Crawl for the Cure a few years ago as a passenger and hated it! After participating in the Womans Trail Run as a driver, she had to get a rig of her own! Hilary has a 2015 JK Rubicon, 2018 JK Sport, and 1999 TJ (Husbands). She is a fan of all off-highway trails, but enjoys rock crawling the most. Hilary is a get up and go lady and you will find her trail lunch bag filled with whatever she had in the pantry! Hilary is a big music fan and you will often hear hard rock coming from her speakers. Some of her favorite bands to listen to on the trails are Sevendust, Godsmack, Halestorm and Korn. Her theme song is "I Am Fire" by Halestorm. Hilary hits the trails often has been on may trails in Minnesota and Wisconsin including Frontenac, Dresser, Gilbert, Spider Lake and Donley's.


Jennifer Dougherty in Prior Lake, MN


Jennifer moved from Northern California to Minnesota last August. She has Rhino colored 2017 Rubicon unlimited JKU hardtop. When she was a teenager, her boyfriend wheeled his lifted Toyota and she has been hooked ever since. Jennifer has experience wheelin in the Sierra Mountains and loves to wheel anywhere with a view. On the trails you will find her munching on beef jerky and Doritos. Her favorite quote is “The Greatness of a man is not in how much wealth he acquires but in his integrity and ability to affect those around him positively” by Bob Marley. She needs a theme song and is open to suggestions!


Jennifer Johnson in Waconia, MN

Jennifer's Dad as been into Jeeps his whole life. His baby was a CJ-5 and he had almost every type of Jeep while she was growing up. Jennifer got her first Jeep when she was 17 years old. Now she drives a 2016 75th Anniversary Edition Wrangler. He favorite snack on the trails is Twizzlers and her theme song is "Forever in Blue Jeans" by Neil Diamond. Jennifer dreams of taking her Jeep to Moab.


Jennifer Thurston in Young America, MN

Jennifer has been enjoying the sport for 23 years. She has a tank green 2015 JKU, loves to eat Spam on the trail and listens to 1980’s Rock. Jennifer is ready to go and ready to take on any trail, anywhere, anytime. Her theme song is Wild Cherry “Play that Funky Music White Boy” and her favorite quote is “Be the good you want to see in the world.”.


Julie Hinsley in Pine City, MN

Julie wheels a 1997 Jeep (XJ). You can find her on at Ma n Pa Rockers Off-Road Park eating sunflower seeds and listening to music.


Julie Sunsdahl in Northfield, MN

Julie loves to come along on the adventure as a passenger until she decided if she wants to take her own truck off-road. She grew up snowmobiling and dirt biking. Her last relationship wasn’t into the sport and after their break-up she decided to get back to it! Julie is a fan of taco roll ups and Snicker bars. You can find her jammin’ out to Blink 182, The Darkness and Buck Cherry. She has been on adventures in Southern MN, Arizona, Birchwood WI, Hayward WI and Michigan. Her theme song is “Crazy B***h” and her favorite quote is “Life is a garden, dig it!”.


Julie Toland in Proctor, MN

Julie is new to the sport and has a 2015 JKU Rubicon. Although she has not hit the trails yet (that is changing soon!) she plans on enjoying a candy bar any form of chocolate and looks forward to a mix of 80s rock, country new and old, and of course Elvis! She cannot wait to take her Jeep to Moab someday! Julie’s theme song is “Beautiful Trauma” and her favorite quote is “I am sick of people I want to go Jeeping”.


Karen Osborn in Maple Grove, MN

Building up her rig and taking it off-highway is something Karen has always wanted to do since she was a teenager is just getting around to it! She has always loved the Jeep Wrangler and purchased her first in 2013, a 2001 Jeep Wrangler Sport (TJ). Next was a 2008 Jeep Wrangler (JKU). Karen see a Rubicon in her future too! She enjoys being on the trails and hopes to overland someday. She is still creating her playlist for the trails and knows John Cafferty and the Brown Beaver Band. Food cooked over an open fire is always her preferred trail meal, but will take a cooler full of goodies too. Karen wants to take a trip with her Jeep to Utah or Colorado. Her favorite quote is "The QUIETER you become, the more you can hear."

Kasey Kromschroeder in Princeton, MN

Kasey got into the sport by helping her Dad build a rock crawler and then eventually taking it over for herself. She wheels a tube chassis rock crawler with a 16v 1.6L Geo Tracker engine that she loves to rock crawl in. Kasey eats dried apples as snack and jams out to rock and rap music on the trails. She has wheeled in Gilbert, Frontenac Farms, Dresser, Apple Valley Farms but she will someday wheel in Moab too!


Kaylene in Minnesota

Kaylene has been into motorsports her whole life (thank you dad!), snowmobiling, 4-wheeling, etc. When she met her now husband off-highway recreating was a hobby that he had been into for many years so he introduced me to it and it was a natural fit from there. She drives a drive a 1968 Chevy truck with a 5.3 LS motor, 35 cut bogger tires, and freak show converter.  It is the first off road vehicle she has owned, and she absolutely LOVES it! Kaylene loves all terrain, but mostly Mud Truck racing. With no radio she enjoys time spent with great friends and listening to the rumble of her truck! You can find Kaylene in Dresser, WI, Gilbert, MN, Frontenac Farms, M,  and many race tracks at local county fairs. Her dream place to wheel in Moab, UT in a UTV!


Kelly Johnson in Farmington, MN

Kelly likes to take her 2007 Jeep Wrangler (JK) out on trails and hills but NO big rocks! Her entire family is in the sport and you can often find them at Glibert, Dresser and Spider Lake. She loves her PB&J, popcorn and hard rock (Staind, Godsmack, and Halestorm)on the trails. Kelly's theme song is "I'm Just a Girl" by No Doubt. Her favorite quote is by Drew Barrymore, "I've always loved butterflies, because they remind us that it's never too late to transform ourselves". Kelly daydreams at work of taking Daisy to Colorado.


Kris Bowe in Richfield, MN

Kris started as a passenger with her husband and eventually started doing a few ladies runs. She got hooked and couldn’t let him have all the fun, so she bought her own Jeep and hasn’t stopped! She wheels a red 1997Jeep Wrangler (TJ) named AXLE. Kris enjoys rock crawling, trails with obstacles, and trail riding. Her snacks of choice on the trails are almonds, licorice, granola bars and her playlist is a custom mix, heavy on the 90’s rap. Kris has enjoyed the sport in Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota, and Colorado. Her dream location to wheel is the Rubicon trail. Kris’ favorite quote is “It’s not happiness that brings us gratitude; it’s gratitude that brings us happiness”.


Laura Champion in MN

Laura wheels her Ocean Blue 2019 Rubicon. She was always interested in the sport, but her sister got her out on the trails (loves her sister and everything she brought into her life). You can find her on the trails listening to anything from 80's music to rap while she is munchin' on trail mix (goes well with all the nuts she wheels with). Laura has wheeled her Jeep at Gilbert, Frontenac, Dresser, Nemadji, Spider Lake, and Apple Valley Farms and she dreams of heading out west to Utah. Laura’s theme song is “Bad Reputation” by Joan Jett and her favorite quote is “send it”!


Lori Braun in Cottage Grove, MN

Lori wheels a 2017 Jeep Rubicon that she enjoys taking trail riding. On the trails her favorite snack is fruit and nuts and loves to listen to Linkin Park, 5FDP, and Metallica. She has been to Park Jeeps private offroad park. She loves the quote “I do what I want!”

Mara Bloom in Centuria, WI

Mara got involved in the sport through her husband. For fun together when they were dating, her husband took her out for a day of wheeling, and she has loved it ever since! She often drives a 2003 Jeep Rubicon with 4 inches of lift and 33-inch tires. It has a 4.0 L inline 6 with manual transmission. Sometimes she drives my husband’s off-highway wrecker which is K30 square body GMC equipped with a Nomar wrecker box, 8 inches of lift, 37-inch tires and a 12000 warn winch up front. Mara is a fan of beef jerky, loves to listen to country, hip hop, and classic rock. She has wheeled in Gilbert and Trollhaugen and looks forward to going to Moab, Utah someday. Her theme song is “My Main” and her favorite quote is “It's only .....”.


Mihn Doan in Blaine, MN

Mihn’s amazing boyfriend got her into the sport. She wheels a 2006 Jeep Wrangler and loves the mud…and rock crawling too. Mihn’s favorite trail snack is Cheez It and you can find Ed Scheeran on her playlist on a warm summer day. She has wheeled in Gilbert, Apple Valley Farms, and Frontenac Farms and dreams of wheeling in Moab someday.


Miriam Botsford  in Mankato MN

Miriam took a long break from Jeeps, but then got a surprise birthday/Christmas gift of a 2007 JKU Rubicon that she has not yet taken off-highway. Wheelin is in her DNA as her inspiration came from watching M.A.S.H with her dad and Daisy Duke from the Dukes of Hazard. Then neighbors and friends took her to dirt trails in motor bikes; the rest is history. She is open to learning and experiencing it all, but really enjoys overlanding more than rock crawling. You can find her listening to music and eating bananas and protein bars on the trails. Miriam has previous experience wheelin in Texas and want to experience as many places around the states that she can. Her theme song is the Star Wars Theme Song and her favorite quote is “I don’t know what my future holds, but I know who holds it”, author unknown.

Misty Hakes in Iowa

Misty has always been into off hughway vehicles. It just came by nature. When she was younger she loved to ride dirt bikes, four-wheelers, and snowmobiles. But once she bought her Jeep, took it off road the first time she was sold! Misty loves to wheel anywhere and everywhere in her 2001 Jeep Wrangler. Misty has taken her Jeep to Moab, UT, Frontnec Farms, MN, and Cambridge, IA. On the trails she listens to Rock music and her favorite trail snacks are beef jerky, trail mix, and ham sammich. Her favorite quote is "oh shit the bed". 


Morgan Wendt in Mankato, MN

I guess you could say Morgan was born into the sport! Her dad was a Monster Truck drive, then transitioned into Tuff Truck racing, after an accident killed his partner whom he owned the Monster Truck with. He raced Tuff Truck for a while and then got into rock crawling and built a rig. Morgan has been wheeling in that rig since she was big enough for a front-facing car seat! Morgan now wheels one of her dad's previous rigs, "BJ", a 1998 Jeep Wrangler (TJ), but nearly every part has been upgraded or replaced at some point, so it's more similar to a buggy. She is a rock crawler and primarily recreates in Minnesota, Wisconsin and South Dakota. Morgan hopes to compete in the King of Hammers someday. She has hum a tune on the trails because she doesn't have speakers in her rig. Her favorite trail lunches are Lunchables, fresh fruit and string cheese. Morgan's theme song is "Greatness or Death" by Beartooth. Her favorite quote is 'The grass is greener where you water it".

Rachel Vance in St. Paul Park, MN

Rachel has a black 2012 JKU Sport 3.5” lift on 34” tires.


Sami Gabriel in Oakdale, MN

Sami has always interested in in off-highway sports and hasn’t had a vehicle to do it in before. She is now a proud owner of a 2005 Wrangler (JK) with a standard transmission and it is not modified! Sami’s everyday driver is a Cherokee. She likes her picnic basket trail snacks of cheese, meat and crackers, and apples and her off-highway playlist has everything but country. Sami dreams of wheelin’ in Hawaii. Her favorite quote is “Be kind to all.”.


Sherri Brannam in Muskegon, MI

Sherri wheels her 2006 yellow TJ that she calls the Wanderer, because she does a lot of that. Her Jeep was stock when purchased it and since then has put in a 8.8 ford rear end, elockers front and rear, 56 gears, a 4 " lift, Metalcloak fenders, 35" tires, aftermarket bumpers winch, and so much more! She enjoys rock crawling and overlanding and has classic rock or country in the background. She dreams of wheeling in Moab. Sherri’s theme song is “Sweet home Alabama” and her favorite quotes is “But did you die!”.


Shelly Pfluke in Lonsdale, MN

Shelly got a Jeep, because I wanted to go "topless".:) Because of the Jeep, she met many others who like off-highway driving and mudding. She is the owner of a 73 CJ5 that she likes to take trail riding, rock crawling, and small amounts of mud. On the trails you can find her snacking on peanuts and she enjoys the sound of tires and nature because her Jeep doesn’t have a radio. Shelly really loves going into the woods and enjoying the outdoors. She has wheeled many places in Minnesota and Wisconsin and has also been to Colorado and South Dakota. Moab sounds wonderful and she hopes to go there someday.


Tanya Johnson in Amery, WI

Tanya’s brother introduced her to Jeeping. She shares her husband’s 2002 Jeep Wrangler which has 35-inch tires and 4-inch lift. Rock crawling is Tanya’s favorite! She loves rock crawling because it takes skill to find your line and be able to maneuver both feet for gas and brake at same time. Having the right spotter is a must to!! When Tanya is rock crawling it gives her a high that she thrives for when she is driving the Jeep. Tanya owns a 2018 Jeep Wrangler JK that she enjoys rock crawling in. Her husband got her into the sport after he purchased a Jeep. You will often see her at Frontenac and eating M&M’s on the trails. Like many of us, Tanya’s dream location to wheel is Moab, UT.

Trista became interested in the sport through her husband (Gary). She wheels a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee that she likes to take hill-climbing and on the trails. You can find a PB&J sandwich in her hands listening to classic rock.

Trista has been to Dresser, WI Trollhaugen Off-Road Park, and the Gandy Dancer trail in Danbury, WI. She dreams of wheeling in Georgia. Her theme song is “Devil Went Down to Georgia” and her favorite quote is “If you don’t do it RIGHT the first time, when will you have time to do it again”.
