Who is ready for an epic weekend?!?!  Come join us for our annual WWW!  Enjoy the scenic Iron Range OHV Rec Area while partaking in an adventure with your 4x4 and making new friends.  We have lots of surprises this year and hope to make this a memorable experience you’ll never forget.

Thursday, June 25

·       4 PM -8PM Check in at West Forty Entrance Campsite B10

·       4 PM - 8 PM Tech Inspection/ Rig Readiness with 1 Star Garage at West Forty BSF Recovery Zone

Friday, June 26

·       9 AM – 12 Noon Check in at West Forty

·       9 AM Mesabi Mountain Trail Ride (see below section with additional information)

·       9 AM – 11 AM Lakeville Offroad Rig Readiness Class at IROHVSRA Education Building

·       11 AM - 12 PM Insurance Q/A With Linda Ford at IROHVSRA Education Building

·       12 PM – 1 PM Lunch Time IROHVSRA Education Building (Bring your own Lunch)

·       1 PM - 2:30 PM BSF Recovery Class at IROHVSRA Education Building

Educational Class Details

Lakeville Off-Road Rig Readiness

June 26th, 9-11 AM

What do you need to get your rig ready for the trails? Find out in this hands-on class with Lakeville Off-Road experts, Ian and Kate Hunter. From airing down your tires, sway bar disconnects to rig inspection for lines and fluids before and after you hit the trail. Ian will be available for instruction and questions. This is a hands-on class, so bring your trail tools or borrow ours to learn what you should be bringing on the trail.

Offroad Insurance 101

June 26th, 11 AM to noon

Learn the nuances of insuring an off-road rig so you can feel confident that your modifications—and any incidents on the trail—are properly covered if you need to file a claim. Linda Ford from Farm Bureau Financial Services will walk you through the essentials and share practical tips to help ensure you have the right coverage in place.

BSF Recovery Class

June 26th, 1 PM - 2:30 PM

Sign up for this class to learn the basics of recovering a stuck vehicle, using kinetic ropes, soft shackles, and winches. Hands-on and classroom learning opportunities with the Extreme Off-Road Wrecker Crew, BSF Recovery Team. No experience necessary.

Pick Your Line with Tops Off Adventures

June 26th, 3 PM-4:30 PM

Tops Off Adventure’s Jen Chapin, will be leading the group to explore the fundamentals of how to navigate the trails. Learn from the basics to advanced skills of rock crawling. Bring your rig ready to explore, aired down, sway bars disconnected, everything secure.

Check in at West Forty RV Park:

Thursday, June 25 (4–8 PM) for Friday events

Friday, June 26 (9 - noon and 4– 7 PM) for Saturday events

If this is your first time attending, please arrive as close to 4 PM as possible. Upon arrival, check in with the West Forty team, set up your camp, then visit the registration booth to complete check-in and ask any questions.

If you need assistance airing down tires or disconnecting sway bars on Friday, let registration know — we'll direct you to the inspection area.

Mesabi Mountain (MMT) Trail Ride: 9 AM Meet at West Forty Pavillion.

  • This is a Jeep Badge of Honor Trail

  • Experienced OHV Drivers ONLY

  • Rig Requirements Apply

  • Must register for this via the Registration Form to reserve your spot as spots are limited

Night Ride: 9 PM be aired down and ready to roll, will line up at West Forty

Saturday

Driver Line Up: Meet at Iron Range OHV Park in the parking area, behind the wash station(you won’t miss it) aired down and ready to roll at 9 AM. We will let attendees line up based on group leader difficulty and preference. The trail guide will review expectations with the group you select and may place you in a more appropriate group based on experience and rig requirements. If this is your first team wheeling or attending WWW, our team will help select a trail guide.

Special Event: “Queens of the Trail Quest” - will include a variety of items throughout the IROHVSRA Park to collect and show off.

Sunday

9 AM Optional informal ride to IROHVSRA Expansion (aka Virginia Expansion) and core trail rides.

9:30 AM IROHVSRA Trail Ride: Line up at Entrance of West Forty

If wheeling Sunday make sure to request a late check out with West Forty for $10.

Registered Drivers will receive a Hit it With Your Purse Trail Bag: includes a variety of items from discounts and stickers, to freebies.

Tech Inspection

Requirements

It is highly recommended that you bring a GMRS handheld radio.

Steering and linkage

  • Steering box and linkage cannot be loose when turning the wheel

Tow points

  • Front and rear tow points

  • Hook secured with ½ inch grade 5 bolts to steel at least 3/8 thick or it must have a backing plate.

  • Class III 2-inch receiver mounted to the frame with a minimum four-½ inch grade 5 bolts.

Battery mount

  • Must have OEM equivalent or stronger. Battery cannot move.

Exhaust

  • Must have a muffler.

Seat belts

  • Required for all passengers and worn anytime the truck is moving.

  • Must be properly anchored Fire extinguisher

  • Must be fully charged and mounted in a quick-release mounting bracket within reach of a seat-belted driver.

  • One is required two is better

Tow strap required

  • 2-inch strap or larger in good condition without hooks only

Roll bar or non-removable hardtop

  • Body mounted roll bars must have backing plates at mounting point

  • Roll bars are required for vehicles with full removable top. (Stock Sami roll bar and tracker K top are acceptable)

Brakes

  • Brakes tested and passed, Pedal cannot be spongy or sink

MISC

  • Fire Extinguisher - ABC 2 pounds minimum

  • Work Gloves

  • First Aid Kit

  • MN ORV Sticker That is Current (Note, these are no longer sold at the Offroad Park!)
